After being accused for bringing cholera to haiti (LINK), the UN peacekeeping force in Haiti becomes the subject of a new schocking accusation. A new cell phone video uploaded on internet (LINK), allegedly showing 4 Blue Helmets from Uruguay sexually abusing a 18-years-old boy on last July, caused the late launch of an investigation and the removal of the chief in command of the Uruguayan forces. United Nations officials stated that the International Organization has a policy of zero tolerance on sexual crimes and if the accusations are true, the culprits must be brought to justice. Sadly, this is not a unique incident. The UN has been repeatedly plagued by sex scandals among its peacekeepers in recent years (LINK).
