British RAF fighter found in the desert


A British RAF fighter plane that had gone to Egypt in June 1942found Seventy years later, intact, in a desert, west of the country, as was known from the British embassy in Cairo.
The aircraft, an American-made type Kittyhawk R-40,discovered a few weeks ago, during an operation for mining, said the embassy's military attaché, Captain Paul Collins, without specifying the exact location.
