The Genpets is the discovery of new bio-engineering. Genpets are living, breathing mammals. Bio-Genica is a Bioengineering Company that has combined, and modified existing DNA from humans ,rabbits and other species and animals to create the Genpets lineup. Genpets have blood, bones, and muscle; they will bleed if you cut them, and die if mistreated just like any other animal. The electronic components are only in the packages and are for basic life support, outside of the packages the Genpets are wholly organic.It is made by mixing human and animal DNA. When you have not opened the package the genetic creatures are in a state of sleep, something like hibernation. The geneyic creatures breathe, and the package has holes to pass air. Once the customer opens the pack is the genetic pet to wake up after 20 minutes and opens his eyes.the  genpets have blood, bones, muscles, mind and everything else have the mammals. They live with proteins. They also have personality and color of the packaging indicates the type.They feel pain, but have not developed vocal chords to express themselves. If they cut they are blooding.

Like all mammals Genpets have brains. Again, Genpets are living creatures.

No, the Genpets are living animals. The power source used is only for the life monitoring devices within the package.
