A survey of evacuees from the Fukushima nuclear power plant shows that residents are angry and disappointed with Tokyo Electric Power Co and the government.
The survey, published on Saturday arond 500+ evacuees and found the displaced people from Fukushima were predominantly angry with the government and disappointed with Tepco. However, around 80 percent of the evacuees polled said they want to move back.
Eighty percent of participants said the government's response was either inappropriate or somewhat inappropriate; 52 percent of respondents said they had worked at nuclear power plants before, and they believe the accident at the Fukushima plant could have been prevented.
"No matter how much they say it is safe, there is no way we can believe them ever again," one woman said.
