The trial before the International Criminal Court for the Ex-Yougoslavia of the ex-military leader of Bosnian Serbs begins today. The 69 years old Ratko Mladic is accused for war crimes and the genocide of 8.000 non combattants in Serbrenica in 1995 and 12.000 people during the siege of Serajevo (1992-1995).
Meanwhile, Mladic's health has deteriorated because of the lack of care during the time he was hiding. His advocate stated today that Mladic is hospitalised in his prison's facilities. He is rumoured to have cancer.
