Bloodbath in Syrien

At least 47 people lost their lives yesterday when security forces opened fire on demonstrators in various cities of Syria, according to activist organizations.
About 21 people were killed in the province of Idlib, near the border with Turkey, said the Council of the Syrian Revolution.
"The forces of the security services continue to shoot indiscriminately. Each day becomes more and more difficult for residents to help the protesters "said S. al-Salman, a lawyer from Idlib, in television network Al Arabiya.
"Six villagers were killed by soldiers chasing deserters in Chalfagia, a city in Hama. Deaths occurred in the capital Damascus to Homs (central Syria) and the eastern province of Deir al-Zor, according to the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights, based in London.
Meanwhile, massive antigovernment demonstrations were reported after noon prayers in Syria, as the protests entered its seventh month.
"We continue until we drop down the regime" was one of the slogans chanted by the participants.
