New redundancy package from Nokia


To cut 3,500 jobs is planning Nokia, while also planning to close a factory in Romania, under the new restructuring program activities.
According to the Six Nations giant mobile, those cuts add to the thousands of layoffs already announced by the company.Recalled that in April the company unveiled a draft cost-cutting of 1 billion.Euros

In today's Communication, Nokia says it will close its factory in the city of Cluj in Romania by the end of 2011 and will stop some activities in Germany and the U.S. by the end of next year. The shares, which have fallen nearly 50% since the beginning of the year, opened today with falling 1.7%.
