Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas today informed the Secretary General of the UN. E Ban Ki-moon of his intention to make Friday a inclusion request of the Palestinian state in the Agency, as declared the spokesman Ban, Martin Nesirki
"President Abbas informed the Secretary General of its intention to submit a request Friday to the UN membership," said Nesirki.
"The Secretary-General reiterated his support for a two-state solution (Israel and Palestine) and stressed that it would ensure that the international community and the two sides could make progress on the resumption of (Israeli-Palestinian) negotiations on a legally and balanced framework, "he added.
