Italy: Six dead from the storm



The heavy rains that hit the far northwestern Italy and Genoa in particular, resulted in the deaths of six people, two still missing.
One woman was killed when struck by cars were swept away by the waters of a stream, and even a wife and two children were found dead in the same district.
The other died a tragic death in the entrance building in the area Kouetzi.
The heavy rains hit Italy one week after another wave of storms that killed 10 people and damaged hundreds of millions of eurosin Liguria and northern Tuscany.
The fire department responded to several districts of Genoa, removing dozens of people. In the worst affected areas was interrupted electricity and gas supply.
Civil protection is recommended that residents of the city not close to streams and take refuge on the upper floors of buildings.
