Much of Somalia, especially the areas in its southern part, controlled by members of the armed group Al Shabab.Although nearly 1 / 3 of the total population faces serious nutritional problems, the work of humanitarian organizations in providing food and medical care is quite difficult because of attacks and kidnappings that occur quite frequently in the region.
