Bulgaria lowest wage and luxembourg highest in EU

Bulgaria occupies the last position in the EU concerning the minimum wage in July was 123 euros, the figures show the European Statistical Office Eurostat.
The first location is Luxembourg with 1758 euros.
On this index, Eurostat divides member states of the EU, which adds and Turkey, Croatia and the U.S. in three groups.
The first group includes 11 countries with the lowest minimum wage of between 100 and 400 euros per month - Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey and Croatia .
The second group placed 5 Member States - Portugal, Malta, Slovenia, Spain and Greece and the U.S., with an average level of the minimum wage from 550 million to nearly 900 per month.
The third group comprises 6 Member States (Britain, France, Holland, Belgium, Ireland and Luxembourg), where the minimum wage is more than 1000 euros a month.
Bulgaria will maintain its last position even if the September 1, the minimum wage increased from 120 to 135 euros.
The situation changes if one considers the average wage.
According to data of Eurostat, the minimum wage in Bulgaria is 36.8% of average salary.
Regarding this indicator Bulgaria has a better position than 5 EU countries, where the match is worse.
In Romania for example, the minimum wage is 33.3% of the average wage, while in the U.S. - 32.1%.
