"Sorry for the United Kingdom '


"I deeply regret that the UK was not willing to adopt new financial package. Sorry for both Europe and the way we dealwith the crisis, and for British citizens and their prospects, "said European Commissioner responsible for economic and monetary policy Olli Rehn in a press conference Monday.
"We want a strong and constructive Britain in Europe and want Britain to be at the center of Europe and not on the sidelines," he added.
"If this move was intended to avoid the bankers and financial companies in the City of regulatory rules, this will not happen.We must all learn lessons from the ongoing crisis and to help resolve it and it affects the financial industry, "he said.
